Jan 2013 Condo in Pictures

I thought I would do a new house tour of sorts- all photos taken on Jan 1 2013! That way I can look back at the very end of this year and compare what updates I have made. Plus my place was somewhat clean and I felt it needed to be documented. Especially since I have a cold and when I get sick I tend to turn the place into a sty (as a side note, I have lost my voice and thanking my stars that this isn't a vlog because it would just be a video of me miming!)

Let's begin!

Bedroom/Livingroom Area:

Kitchen:

Bathroom:

You may have noticed that my giant art behind the table is gone (and is actually shoved beside the bed in the first photo). Well that is because it FELL at 2:00am a couple weeks ago. Scared the beejeezus outta me and it landed on my laptop, camera, and phone! Luckily nothing was damaged but that art is gonna be replaced with something else now!

You may also have noticed that more photos ended up on my fridge. Darn cute babies visiting with Santa- what could I do?

Lastly, you might also be wondering how I got such nice photos of my hallway and front hall without turning on the lights. That is because I finally got one of these!!

A tripod! It was all I really wanted for Christmas and my Dad came through and got me this Manfrotto 290 Series one! Now I can get better shots by using longer exposures. I also got an external flash, but I am going to need to play with that one for a bit before I can post about it.

  1. Sweet tripod! I have a little one, but I've been thinking about replacing it because it's highest extension is around at my waist. Not quite high enough!

And, your place is great! Tiny, but so cute! If I were on my own, it's the kind of place I would look for!

    1. Ya i think the tallest height on this one is maybe 4 ft? Im not sure but its fairly tall and I can angle it sideways to do portrait shots instead of landscape.

and yes my place is perfect for one! I wouldnt want to share it

  3. Manfrotto has some good tripods! I just ordered a wide-angle lens that I am super-excited about! Yay for camera upgrades! And the place looks great, too. Love the ottoman. Never noticed that before.

    1. Thank you! I only really get good light at certain hours of the day and basically none all winter.
