Seeing Spots
I read something the other day (I think it was Apartment Therapy?) about how 2012 was the year of the chevron and 2013 is going to be...the year of the polka dot!
What do you think? Could you see polka dots in your home this year?
I am not entirely sure I would want a whole wall of polka dots, but I think a throw pillow or two would be right up my alley!

I never got into chevron but I could see myself getting into polka dots! Although like you, I wouldn't be painting a full wall, just accenting with pillows or something small like that.
ReplyDeleteI liked chevron, but i never actually put any chevron in the condo. I think polka dots on a nursery wall would be cute- but toooo cutesy for an adult wall!
DeleteI have the white and blue duvet cover and pillowcases pictured in the Country Living photo - they are from Ikea. That photo actually gives me the idea that I need to add in another pop of color. What that color should be, though, is a difficult question to answer!

DeleteI'm not sure the dots are as versatile as chevron. It will be fun to see if it takes off.

DeleteI never really got behind the chevrons, but I think I can do the polkadots. I also think pompoms are rather trendy right now too, and they're similar - round and whimsical

Oh my goodness those sheep SLAY me!! hahahaha. I think that art would be very easy...but im running short on walls :(
